YD Horizontal Flat Glass Tempering Furnace
( Radiaton or Convection Type for option )

A tempering furnace is an industrial furnace designed to heat treat ferrous metal products and increase their toughness. 
In order to temper the glass, the tempering furnace heats the glass to an extremely high temperature, usually above 600 degrees Celsius.
Then, using air jets, the furnace cools the glass evenly and quickly. The rapid cooling process is called quenching.
During the tempering process, the glass undergoes extreme compression and gains resistance to impact and thermal shock.
The heating and cooling processes that occur during the tempering process increase the strength of the glass and reduce the risk of cracking or shattering.
However, if the tempered glass does break, it will shatter into several small pieces with spherical edges instead of large, sharp pieces. This reduces the risk of serious injury. 

Function of Machine

1. YD-F series Glass Tempering Furnace is used to manufacture tempered/toughened/heat-enforced safety glass which is widely applied in furniture, construction, door and window industry, etc. 
2. Processed Glass Range: Glass of 4-19mm thickness
- Transparent float glass or flat glass
- Mass color float glass or flat glass
- Single face silk-screen printing glass
- Coated glass ( single, double, triple silver LOW-E glass)
3. Installed with Germany-made control system, the machine is user-friendly and easy to operate. It has a clear and straight-forward interface with multi-language option. 
4. Consisted of five main parts: glass loading table, heating section, passing section, cooling section and unloading table.
5. We can provide custom-made machine to process glass of different size.

1. Glass Loading Table

The loading section is equipped with lifting ball table and side roller bar. 
It is convenient for loading large glass.

2. Glass Heating Furnace
The machine adopts high accuracy and heat-resistant ceramic rollers.
It can guarantee a uniform heating performance.


3. Quenching and Cooling Section
With a rational arrangement of cooling air grids, the quenching section can ensure that
glass with various thickness can be cooled efficiently and accordingly.
It adopts Aramid/Kevlar roller rope, featuring high effieciency heat-resistant performance.
The rollers will not be scalded when unloading the hot glass.
There is a passing section in cooling parts, which means there are 2 blowers for cooling:
one is large power and the other is small power to save power consumption.

4. Unloading Table
Similar to the glass loading section, the unloading section is also equipped with lifting ball table and side roller bar.
